And look, I get the whole "Don't want to date my Kouhai because I work with her and it would appear I'd be taking advantage of her" but at this point you either decide to just be friends or you take the initiative and "Seal the Deal" so to speak.

That's not like 403 or 406. He just made the request it in an improper manner. If he requests again in a proper way, there's still a chance.

With the beer cans there, I think Senpai is being fuel by artificial courage. Kouhai-chan wants the real man... not some ethanol powered brute.

If anything, when you take Kouhai-chan's usual behavior into account, and that blush, I imagine that she's the one who's drunk, not her Senpai. Probably an accident and her drunk mind is misinterpreting it, since we know Senpai doesn't have the balls to go that far.

This looks like a classic "they both tripped and he fell on top of her" kind of thing. He's not actually trying anything with her, but she's perhaps somewhat drunk and her mind is going there and so she's giving him the sign that she doesn't want to actually go there just yet.
