This is AI generated? Good luck to future artists then.

It's quite ironic the site that made in part possible this achievement by its tagging method, now goes against what they helped with. You created a monster you can't now control at all.

Here I hope for a booru not only archives these pieces of art, but also finds or posts the prompt that created it. It will be a problem when 16K or greater resolution screens hit a common market.

Why are you phrasing that like Danbooru actively contributed to AI art? Only one has actually stated to have used Danbooru's tags, and even if it hadn't, Danbooru isn't the only site with a half decent tagging system, nor would that have even been ultimately necessary.

FYI, AIbooru already exists, and the prompt and software used can almost always be found in the metadata

Really? That's good to know. We will be able to reproduce upscaled art when needed then. So far I know other 5 boorus and tags are often outdated, almost inexistent or suspiciously identical from here. The only booru I know with strict tag rules is just this one.

We already have software for that. That's what waifu2x is. It's not what the recent boom of AI art software is for, and artists would lose their shit if people started using them to intentionally reproduce their art. It's bad enough when it's an accident.

Waifu2x you say? Truly approved when uploaded on here too, very reliable also. *sarcasm*

Automation is a tragedy for those with a career, but just like auxiliar accountants that knew the basics to perform its career before computers reduced their number of jobs, only artists with really specialized skills will likely succeed now. Low resolution art with a Patreon paywall to show boobs it's not a specialized skill anymore (at all). Things like writing stories, able to imprint a wild imagination or 3D modeling still are... at least for now.

I feel sorry for those affected by progress, I've been there before too as a TI guy. That's how life goes, either you find a new career or specialize to a niche yet a computer alone can't still do. Less anime and gatcha games, more studying and practice from now on.
