IIRC this was done by one of the artists of The Simpsons. I think Shuffle is one of his favourite anime.

I wonder why he made Mikuru so... ugly. There have been quite beautiful girls (or women) in The Simpsons, like in that one episode where Homer felt attracted to a co-worker.

Oh come on, this is just so.....wrong. You'd have to be sexually impotent or unbelivebly desperate to find a simposons character the slightest bit attractive. These are supposed to be Japanese characters as well, he didn't even draw them the way they normally draw Japanese people! This is an absolute travesty!

I have to agree. Some characters in The Simpsons can be rather cute or even sultry. Mikuru and Yuki don't appear anything like that. If anything, they look more like deformed yellow Fraggles.

Actually, Nina Matsumoto (a.k.a. Space Coyote) is female.
