The original title 譲り渡し does not mean moving places, but rather transferring something to someone. (If you have a better wording I would appreciate you correcting my translation of the commentary)
Look closer, she's turning into ashes. Given the blood on her mom, she probably did something so Kiara gets sent to the next world via her immortality.
