Spell cards and attack methods are unique, in that they are more experimental and can end up being harder than the final boss. Sakuya has Knives and Time Stop, Youmu has intended slowdown, Reisen has Bullet Fragmentation, Sanae has those star formation bullets (I haven't reached her yet), Orin has Zombie Fairies and appears more often as a target than all other bosses in one game, and Shou has Curvy Lasers (iirc)

The tricky hitbox of knives and curvy lasers make them quite fearsome. They are recurrent parts of my nightmares XD

Knife bullets are still to this day the scariest things I've ever encountered. It's the reason why I haven't ever been able 1CC EoSD yet.

So far, I've only played the left-half of this group, and I've gotta say that they will always be in my nightmares...
