    I hated the scene in the 40k anime when God Empress-chan finally confesses her feelings to the Primarchs, but just by coincidence, an Exterminatus orbital bombardment begins at the same time and her love confession isn't heard.

    I hate this trope so fucking much. Bullying characters with "acts of god" are often humorous, but using it to blue-ball the audience because you aren't capable of writing real conflict is just insulting.

    Added the anachronism tag since the Space Marine is wearing Primaris power armor which was introduced after the Emperor (or is it Empress) ascended to the Golden Throne and during Primarch Roboute Guilliman's resurrection after the Fall of Cadia.
