I always wondered about that cyclon thingy. if the oxygen from the center gets sucked away, wouldnt the person running also recieve the same sort of oxygen burn out?

Fairly sure she's saying that she doesn't feel good in one panel. Still, the physics of such speeds never stopped the Flash from running at the speeds he does! Perhaps the magic of the spell card provides her with some protection against oxygen loss, friction, etc.

If I'm putting this together correctly... she's running so fast that she's actually faster than the speed of sound, to the point where she's just now hearing Yuyuko's collapse to the ground? 200 yojana in a flash, huh... tch, chic's as fast as a jet, if not, faster.

I'm fairly certainly ("fairly") that she's not going faster than the speed of light, but the comic makes me think that she's just now hearing Yuyuko's collapse, which would indicate that she broke the sound barrier with her speed (I was trying to say that when I first posted).

At any rate, didn't they have a plane that went that fast from France to the US? It had a bad crashed and they haven't built one since, I don't believe. The Concorde or something like that, I think. It broke the sound barrier, from I can remember when I was reading about it. I can't remember the details, it's been a long while.

The Concorde died the same death as the F-14 Tomcat; they were getting a bit creaky and not enough people wanted to pay for them any more. It was the first commercial supersonic passenger airliner, however it had quite a few teething problems...the biggest one being the sheer noise they made on takeoff and landing.

I read the article in full not so long ago, and the direct cause of the demise is because the manufacturer refused to provide maintenance any longer.
Otherwise a number of people are still interested (to this day) to operate it.

That's what I meant by "not enough" people wanting to pay for it; as in the manufacturer doesn't want the expense to tool parts and train technicians.

Sorry 'bout that, I didn't read that correctly. And as for the jet... after hearing what you guys spoke on it about, that just makes it sad. The only reason the people on-board died is, in a way, because of somebody's (or a group of people's) laziness- that is to say, unwillingness to make necessary upgrades to the plane.

And with that, I'm guess I'm done with the matter considering that I'm slightly freaked by the coincidence that we're talking about this with Yuyuko collapse in the above pic.
