I don't know whether it's because of the irony or because it's popular, but it just isn't right. Maybe it's gotten popular because people want to believe it's not impossible. Well, it is, so they should just show what the real case is.

Oh... I didn't know forcing your father into suicide is now called a "difference".

Just as time can heal wounds, it can also leave scars. That's why canonical Mokou will never forgive Kaguya. With each passing day she feels worse and blames the pain bestowed upon her at Kaguya. Even though canonically she doesn't actually go out and try to kill Kaguya (actually canonically, it's the other way around... Kaguya goes after HER with assassins because she's too lazy to do it herself after so many years), she still despises her and keeps it and herself concealed altogether. Her outlet is the entertainment she gets from fighting those assassins, so it evens out in a way, but it's still irritating. In any case, the point here I'm trying to make is- in this case, time doesn't heal her wounds, it causes them.
Well, I don't think we're giving her enough credit. Then again, she DID take the elixir when she was still an immature teen. It's possible it'll take a very long time for her to grow up and deal with it. Who knows?
Kaguya, seeing she's an eternal princess, things probably won't change. Then there's Eirin, if anyone knows, I'd think it would be her. Mokou and Kaguya will always have a rivalry, there's no doubt about that. But I'm sure that the fact that Mokou can blame Kaguya for her cause of immortality is one of the things that keeps her going at it. Knowing Mokou, that's not going to change. Not even in an eternity. She's human, and she needs that reason to keep her going.

She probably did. I don't think Mokou will ever actually forgive Kaguya, though... Maybe more "just deal with it". Mokou may be forgiving, but she's not that soft, especially toward Kaguya. She might even preserve the rivalry. But she might not make much of an effort to actually fight Kaguya anymore...
I believe in one of the IN endings Eirin outright states she's also a Hourai Immortal, but I would need someone to verify that info. Kaguya at least has a companion for the long haul.
