I don't really engage with danbooru community, I just use this site to search for otokonoko art.
How does it work anyway? Do people go on Bridget art individually to see wrong-think comments and proceeded to get their goons to downvote?

Surely you're aware that when you comment without No Bumping, it shows everyone who checks the comments page your comments, right? No one is looking for your comments, you're literally broadcasting them to the entire userbase.

There was an attempt a couple months ago, it got rejected by an overwhelming amount of votes. Danbooru seems to be one of the last places that still gives a fuck about this, with the vast majority of culture warriors on Twitter now apparently obsessing over how people buying that new Harry Potter game will cause Rowling to descend from her luxury mansion and personally massacre all transsexuals in the UK.

Danbooru seems to be one of the last places that still gives a fuck about this, with the vast majority of culture warriors on Twitter now apparently obsessing over how people buying that new Harry Potter game will cause Rowling to descend from her luxury mansion and personally massacre all transsexuals in the UK.
It should be clarified that that BUR only applied to Strive posts, and only G Rated ones. It was only proposed at all because when fully clothed, Bridget is indistinguishable from a girl (as to be expected of an otoko no ko). Posts like this one would still be tagged 1boy, as well as any depictions of Bridget pre-Strive. On top of that, as far as owner and admins are concerned, it was only up for debate at all because of the countless tagging complications the change would cause. That is it though, these lot who came to this site demanding the change don't do so out of compassion.... they are doing it because they are power hungry and want everyone to fall in line and comply with them and their beliefs. Myself I was banned from a fetish art site for reporting someone telling me to walk into traffic simply because I said Sex and Gender werent the same thing and that Bridget is male
I mean if you need porn to justify the identity of a fictional character in order to be "valid", when in reality you only care because you use him as a trophy to bash people you dont like with, then that says more about you than this site tagging Bridget as 1boy

Funny how this site screamed and cried about how ot was impossible to tag a Trans character properly while a furry booru site figured it out years ago with their lore tags. The user base on this site is just overly serious about tag what you see to a really dumb extent.

Those kinds of tags were suggested, and ultimately weren't created because you can't trust users to reliably or accurately tag things you can actually see with your own two eyes, so how in the world are you supposed to keep a tag that functions exclusively off of canon knowledge clean?
It's a full time job keeping the "simple" tags clean, and too many people would rather complain about what the site is doing than help clean up the mess, when they wouldn't even be willing to help garden the tags they keep demanding be created. As much as I support the creation of tags for trans characters (I was one of the ones pushing for it) I'm not going to pretend it doesn't come with a host of problems.
