She appears to be camera shy and grooming herself by pretending not to notice the phone. So I think it would be more like unaware or disguise rather than mistaken.

The gist that I got from it was that she was expecting to be pet when she sees the hand approaching, only to grab something behind her and she starts cleaning herself to hide her embarrassment. Kind of like waving back at somebody only to realize they were waving at somebody behind you, and trying to play it off as scratching your head. But it's kind of a complicated feeling to express ww
