this feels like AI art for sure, weird lines going on in the background, the average ai lighting style. tried to blur the right hand to hide the fingers, one sleeve.
this could be heavily assisted but theres so much odd looking shading i feel like AI art loves to over case hard light slightly behind body part. it also seems weirdly out of the artists style, or a shift in tone sorry to them if its not but the waters feel so muddy these days.

They've got the WIP on twitter though, I think they have been trying out a different style in recent posts.

Having followed this artist for a while, I would say this is in line with the natural progression of their style. It just so happens that A.I. art shares a similar aesthetic.

i wont push pursuing this artist further then, it still seems odd. the wip is just a base sketch too, a lot about this still feels weird. it feels like its has hallmarks of ai art, if not used then it almost feels like its studied from it. the background and random blurring and the stong lighting from behind on pale skin is such a trigger for me causing suspect. i dont really follow artists that shade and light art like how ai commonly does it, so i just get this annoying like immediate visual reaction to it lol

pixiv comments seem kinda suspisous of it too tho.

My gut reaction is that there may be some AI use here but overall this was mostly human. For example, the checker board pattern in perspective is too geometric and regular for an AI to generate from scratch.

That was me, after your comment I thought it would be fair to ask over there, seeing as Yenmi is spanish with english reading skill I thought I would ask to be fair. I personally don't think they used AI, and I don't know if they'll respond.

EDIT: They replied and gave links to the sources they used and mentioned using Blender. No AI was used.

The AI advance started a witch hunt...

It's hard to "give proof" of not using AI assisting tools, so we end up burning all artists on the pyre.

It's actually very easy. Reference source, original work file, explanation of process and recreation. Art work process is involved enough that there's multiple ways to explain your work if you actually done them.

Not all artist will explain shit and not all will do a video just to brag their skills.

The point I'm making is that it's extremely easy to prove work's authenticity by the artist provided it was made recently. There's not a single artist on this planet that can't explain their reason or methodology of their work.
