I really need to learn to read more kanji, all I can get is clear/bright(Mei) and sun(nichi) out of that. And I think they aren't read that way together like that. Meh, All I could get was the title of the book.(Rekishi... death by being run over? I think I will go with history.) Man, I think I am gonna go study some more... Maybe then I won't embarrass myself trying to translate then... Oh well, back to the books then!

Yup.「れきし」=「歴史」, which is "history". Plus, it's Keine.
