I understand when the post is bumped constantly with the same thing it'll get annoying, but I think that's too much.

The people who decide to post "HNNNNNG so far it ends up stretching the screen out or some other old, tired meme are alot worse to me. This was pretty harmless.

Yes, but this one was getting out of control. People kept bumping up with useless messages that do not deliver any real meaning, which got to the point where people got banned for doing so.

Annoying people, they may be, but this could have been avoided if I was to translate it without those simple common words... I'd be sad if I was banned from Danbooru too.

nana, if you ended up getting banned for translating the image, that would reek of idiocy. There's no reason for you to be banned over something 20 other users did with your translation.

I don't have any knowledge of Japanese, is there anything else you could have translated it as? It seems to me like it's so short it probably would have ended up being abused no matter what.

Not really. It's a one-word way of expressing happiness. The closest I can come up with is "Fuuuun~" but that just sounds retarded.
