I think because he didn't get an official art, only some dialogue that "he is Youmu's teacher and went away long time ago" so the artist didn't put him in. The old Youki we're having atm is merely fanart, as far as I know that is.
Yes, this chart is flawed. It's missing yuugenmagan, the_5_magic_stones, Rika's tanks, sokrates_(touhou) (even if he's in Ellen's portrait) , mimi-chan, konpaku_youki, Alice's other dolls, the catfish, hisou tensoku. And the name order is weird. Everyone except for Mokou and the Watatsuki sisters are written in western name order.
They apparently weren't moe enough for the uploader. Also: Doesn't this fall under the "Don't upload your own works" category?
I think the maker is from western country, that explains the name order, also I didn't see anyone call Mokou "Fujiwara's Mokou" or "Lunar's Yorihime/Toyohime" so that's why most people just call them like the Japanese do. Alice's other dolls don't have specific names, or to be more exact Hourai and Shanghai are the most popular ones only. The rest are either fan-art'd, or not moe enough for the maker.
One impressive Timeline. Voted up for such a work. Few characters I don't know are here. They must be in some book or something. Guess I should start reading the Official Mangas now to know more.

"Mokou of Fujiwara" (as in "Mokou, of the Fujiwara clan") might be a more accurate translation attempt. Anyway, the names with no fall to a historical category where the original order is generally preserved regardless of context.
Thinnest thumbnail evar. I have a nagging suspicion that this image will someday be useful to settle a bet. Considering I've never played a Touhou game in my life it's very unsettling.

a series of Danmaku (bullet hell) vertical shooting games (like the ones on the SNES with a plane and destroying bases, tanks, ships, etc. while the screen moves forward.
there are also 2 fighting games and an expansion for the last one. if wanna know more just google "tohou wikia" and you can see all the info there.
also if you want to start playing i'll recomend you Touhou 8 "Imperishable night" for starters. from the on it's your decision.
