I dare say Cloud had a thing for Aerith. It may be Zack's memory, it maybe brief and short lived, but I'm sure they're there. If Square(now Square Enix) had left the game as it is a decade ago this is actually the ending i would like to see. Their appearance in FFT had made things look so convincing... until they tried to revive the 7's legacy. =\
