I know this is a reallllllly old post to be replying to, but... It was Nu that said it, and she's referring to the alternate timeline versions of HERSELF that Ragna has either 'killed' Nu, been 'killed' by Nu, or both ended up in the Cauldron together before either one actually 'died'. Of course 'dying/killed' in this case refers to being damn close to death, and just before Hazama gets involved, goes unlimited and wastes BOTH of them, and dumps what's left into the cauldron anyways - just to start the time-loop all over again. Ragna doesn't remember due to his soul being reborn 'normally' which wipes his prior timeline memories utterly, while Nu's soul, being deliberately pulled from the other side of the Cauldron, DOES remember the loops. Which is also why she's gone near completely yandere towards Ragna. And, it doesn't help that Hazama is pushing her buttons either and is the one who uses her as a guinea pig - Every. Damn. Timeloop.
