Good idea. Oh, make sure someone's charisma is still okay before doing what you want.

Wait theres no way to live there, you'd either end up as some random youkai's meal or the meal of the youkai you are trying to live with. They are man eaters after all. And also they live far longer lives then humans. It'll only bring disaster and grief. A thing most people who want their loved one not to suffer.

Operation: Survive Gensokyo

• Step 1: Summon Demon Lord.

• Step 2: Trade soul to become a Warlock.

• Step 2a*: Reach level 6 and take 'Fell Flight'.

• Step 2b**: Reach level 7-20 for even more power(s).

• Step 3: Gain access to Gensokyo (If you can summon a FREAKIN' DEMON LORD, getting past the impenetrable barrier that is the Hakurei Border should be easy.).

• Step 4: Enjoy your new life in Gensokyo, using your new powers to defeat any youkai/monster/angry human that attempts to eat/kill you, or at the very least, defend yourself/escape from danger.
