Don't think so... in the second/left comic you can see Komachi's hand is pretty bloodied, there seem to actually be some splinters poking through it, and there seems to be some lingering electricity.
She's hiding how bad, but she's pretty damaged right now.
Agreed, Shikamaru could still actually win his fight with Temari. I dont think Komachi could win anymore if she kept on playing. She just chose to go down gracefully rather than fight an un-winnable battle.

She said they couldn't cause direct damage. All Iku did was accelerate the ball. If Komachi had allowed the point or possibly not attacked straight on, she might not have been hurt.
....dammmmmn. Iku put so much power behind that ball... she tore Komachi's ass up... rather her hand. At any rate, I'm curious... what's this "Shikamaru" thing you guys are talking about? I've never heard that term before.

The really lazy bastard in Naruto. He's a tactician, but he doesn't like doing much of anything, so his awesome tactics are primarily used to keep him from as much work as possible. ie, he's almost as lazy as Komachi.

The specific moment we're referring to is when Shikimaru makes a fight winning move...then gives up, because he doesn't have enough energy to keep going in the tournament.
Huh...?eh...Unanticipated WordsShe returned it...
