That's not how it works. Cement does not have a 'precise time' where it hardens. It's dependent on the mixture composition, the amount of water, the humidity of the air and the ambient heat (related to evaporation). While the topmost layer could cure between 24-48 hours, the deeper layers would need an upward of 28-30 days per inch of slab thickness. You can't just suck in air at the correct moment to create a hollow which accomodates breathing later, as the continuous shifting of the cement mixture will actively prevent it from hardening (at all): why do you think cement transport trucks needs a rotating barrel?
