artists should thank Zuck the Cuck for the limited posts since he literally ripped off twitters code to make his new personal data collection app.

Your comment is so many levels of stupid that I just had to crawl out of my lurker-hole to tell you off.

    1. Until a sufficiently solid proof is given about stealing code, assets or software architecture, your comment is at best a rumour or assumption. You have made a claim, so the burden of proof is on your end. I hope to see one.

    2. Meta revealing a competitor to Twitter does not in any way, shape, or form, force the latter one to limit post visibility or general usability of its services to any extent. Unless you claim that Zuckerberg has the influence to order Twitters workforce to possibly go against the direct orders of their employee. Which would be an interesting turn of events, but once more, proof is needed.

    3. The personnel that was hired by Meta was fired willingly by the upper management of Twitter; there was no blackmailing, kidnapping or other criminal activities as far as the public knows. There is zero room for complaining about any kind of "stealing the workforce" or other falsehoods.
3a. Any competitor recruiting your formerly released employees will also not force you to limit the visibility or usability of your services. Twitter related decisions were presumably made by Twitter owners and not some external force.

    Cheers

Those were a lot of claims with nothing to back them up. You seem to just accept them at face value with out question. Where is the proof then?

He didn't make any claims. His entire comment literally just says, "You have no proof that Zuckerburg had anything to do with what's going on with Twitter."

What exactly does he need to prove? That someone with no apparent means to influence a company he doesn't own didn't influence the company he has no apparent means to influence?

Do you really believe that? Zuck has so much influence, money, and connections that yes, he can and does influence twitter much to Elon's loss. The PR smears, stock shorting, and bribing and/or blackmailing employees are a common thing. The leftist that Elon fired are mostly immature and petty people that had full access to so much of the data, code and more that Elon likely will never know how much just walked out the door.

Also keep in mind that Elon for all his faults is standing up to the cabal of the global elites. Not playing ball with them has put him on their shit list and ruining twitter is exactly what they would approve of.

Call me a cynic or a contrarian, but I am just not believing that twitter is dying. I have heard that song and dance before.

Those are some pretty bold claims to make without citing any evidence. Or, to put it another way:

Allow me to point you to an interesting Wikipedia article, it's written around people believing alternative theories to avoid carrying blame on their own shoulders.

    Here is a full quote:

    Abd Al-Munim said:

We thought that by the end of the 20th century, the Arab mind would be open enough not to explain everything with a 'conspiracy theory'...the biggest problem with conspiracy theories is that they keep us not only from the truth but also from confronting our faults and problems...This way of thinking relates any given problem to external elements, and thus does not lead to a rational policy to confront the problem.

EDIT: Also, in case you haven't realized yet, it's fashionable today for rich people to promote themselves as against some cabal. When all their fortunes were made in the past exploiting people who now defend them. When they belong to "elites" that pretend not to be and protect them because they have territory. Because they are afraid of their fortunes disappearing once poverty overpass their control limits and people lead a revolution against them. Of course they will try to paint themselves as the good guys, that's how Trump (another work exploiter selling fake methods to be rich with the Japanese guy) got elected president. That's how Elon tries to save his ass from their own mistakes.

Maybe if Elon didn't act like an ass to people that work for him like the spoiled elite rich child he is, he would get some sympathy from their workers and make Twitter as functional as it was before.

Adding to Harsher in Hindsight because of Musk rebranding Twitter to X.

How does that make this harsher in hindsight? This was already made as a direct reference to Musk progressively making Twitter a worse place for artists (and everyone else). The rebranding is probably the least bothersome thing he's done as far as artists are concerned, though it's not exactly sitting well with anyone else.

i really hope one day musk crosses a line that forces him to face the consequences of his actions and ego, that he can’t ignore or pay off.

I hope the same for Zuckerberg too. But as people are gullible enough to believe they are against the Rockefeller, Rothschild, DuPont, etcetera they will donate all their money possible to keep them afloat if that were to happen (they did it with Trump). Gift money to billionaires, we live in an upsidedown world.

it's not a good way to get exposure. Pixiv is a place for artists, not regular uninterested joe schmoes. You want a general social media open to the public.

    Some do.
Other would use Seiga, or Deviant Art, or some other platforms.
But non of them has a wide reach like Twitter or Facebook or other "social" media platforms.

That's why some just decide to put their own work on social media, not thinking things would change like this.

Apparently cause they have not dicked around enough recently, they're now throttling twitter links to news sites Musk doesn't like and competing social media sites as of today.
