Oni(Demon) Yamashiro
An another name of battleship Yamashiro of the Imperial Japanese Navy.
This phrase was used in a satirical poem about IJN's excessively strict dicipline and monomaniacal sanctions.
This phrase is followed by a sentence that "*** from hell, notorious serpent's ***, this leaves me one choice, that is, hang myself in the vessel of ***."
Other ships have regional variations. They are given long-established and admirable ship's names such as Fusou, Kongou, Nagato, Akagi, and Musashi.
Interestingly, "demon Yamashiro" does not change at all times.
