Unconvincing, given:

• tons of other ai users have already done this exact thing of tracing over the ai image after someone notices it's ai-generated as a damage control attempt.

• if you just open the image in full size (the one here on danbooru i mean), it's just way too artifacted all over, and the uncolored sketch itself is sus.

• there's already a feature in clip studio paint (i assume that's what this artist is using, it's even more popular in japan that anywhere else) that can do coloring, even if not in a "finished" look, it looks very different a lot better than whatever this is here; this feature was released long before the AI boom.

There are so many problems going on here that I don't even know where to begin. The more I look, the worse it gets.

• The shading under her hair bow and chin makes no sense, full stop. There's no lighting that can explain these shadows and misplaced highlights.
• There's a chromatic aberration effect inconsistently applied in some places (note the green and purple fringe around the hair bow) but not elsewhere.
• Diagonal edges are severely aliased and grainy. This is especially obvious around the hair and stockings.
• Too much edge enhancement has created an unnatural-looking "halo" around areas of high contrast, like the bikini waistband and the edge of the sailor collar.
• There's a weird posterization effect in places, creating flat blobs of color that stand out compared to the details around them. The hair in front of her right hand is especially bad.

AI or not, it looks like shit. Contributors should know better than to bypass the queue with crap like this.

I mean he made the drawing some days before it when I checked, its clear that its just using AI to coloring like he said,

Also don't look at me trying to get this approved I agree theres many problems, I just wanted to defend the artist I never heard of (I just come here because I was looking for KC stuff and this felt like a weird image, I also not fan of the show this girl is from since I never watched it), because its quite clear from a look that he either went for AI coloring because he felt his one was not good enough, or at least was not worth investiment vs reward wise.

Again, this is something I would not even think on Uploading since I would not like it, let alone think it could pass by some of the guys that are more lax.
