I had a bit of a WTF moment about Akyuu as well. I thought it odd that he gave Alice nothing to speak of, too.

He did give Reimu a rack in two of the chapters of Crimson Wing Book, though. In one, it was a what-if future where she and Rinnosuke have two daughters; in the other, it was due to one of Marisa's mushrooms.

You're lost. If that were the case then Alice wouldn't be around. All scenes in the shop take place in the present.
