Yeah. "Getto da ze!" It's the Japanese Pokemon slogan...similar in many respects to the English "Gotta catch 'em all!" and a classic line, all around. I translated it literally here. Would it be more appropriately rendered in english as "I choose you" for this situation, though?
Gosh. Mijumaru.. s-so dumb looking. And yet, somehow, I just wanna take it home and spoil it with love.
Tetsamaru said: "Ze" isnt a pure marisa catchphrase. Its a legitamint way to end japanese sentances the same way "Desu" is.
Characters like Marisa and Suiseiseki just overuse those particular particles.
that I am well aware of, however while desu dosn't make me double take I have heard it used by plenty of others, ze is still one that dosn't seem to be used often and theres only one character im aware of that consistently uses it

I think 'Ze' is used fairly often in a regular conversation. Your probably just missing it since it doesnt have that big of an impact as "desu" is which is usually pronounced "Des" anyway.

'Ze' is like never used in normal conversations. I would only think a few thousand Japanese people us it rarely. I categorized 'Ze' like 'Ore'. Its kind of the more rude/blunt speech that Japanese people probably just won't use.
