Won't lie, I'm kinda intrigued by this comic, considering the swerve it did there around two-thirds of the way through. Consider this a translation bump of a sort.
@Maiden_in_Orange, I marked several pages as requiring revision or incomplete since I was not sure of some statements and onomatopeias, but all the dialogues should be translated now. I was too lazy to translate the afterword. This was quite the tear-jerker. Having the girl that appeared at first be someone else who only looked like Satori was clever. Her pain and anguish are very well conveyed, but the hope Satori gives her is beautiful and the part I love about this comic. I hope I have been able to preserve this emotion properly with the translation. I also find it interesting that the girl is not classified as a youkai despite being able to read minds as Satori can. I wonder is missing for her to be a youkai, given her ability is already innate. Overall, one of the best Touhou doujins I've read.

I ended up bawling at the very part you mentioned. The hope Satori inspired in the girl feels very geniune to me, and I really appreciate that aspect: not downplaying her anguish but instead simply giving her the push she needs to live another day, and to not look at this ability as simply a curse. I imagine the girl is in a position similar to Usami Renko regarding her ability, while still being classified as human. She simply happened to have the same ability as Satori.
