If the game was modeled after the anime in the slightest. Pokemon would have access to all their moves as they learn them. And some moves are universally held by all pokemon.

Like tackle or headbutt.
F*ck the anime, model it after the manga. The Nidorans look like adorable hamsters.
I'd like it if you could chose to keep the moves they learn, it'd be more complicated. People have figured out the game completely, it's down to being just an optimizations problem now and whoever has more time in their hands will win
well, not that it'll ever stop being an optimizations problem, but at least the number of possible moves/items/etc combinations would be completely insane and it'd fit real life a little more.

You know. Except for Pokemon that don't have heads. Like Tangela.
...or Pokemon that are all head. Like Voltorb. I guess then it's both.
nidoran-f can breed, but nidorina and nidoqueen can't; it's a complete mystery as to why. breeding capability is a bit different from gameplay mechanics like move limit and such, so nidoran-f's case does mean something

*siiiigh* There is a boatload of Pokémanga, so please don't act like SPECIAL is the only one. (Unless you're using the term plurally, I suppose.)
special really is the only one; all the others are one-offs at best except for the silly clefairy gag manga and pokemon zensho which is literally the game in manga format (and the basis of the origin)
