@SolRush, what wizardry is this? How on earth did you make an embedded note cover the original text but not the translucent thought balloon? Note source gives no hints.

The backdrop in the semi-translucent balloon seemed linear, so I used two layered notes with adjusting "level-##" to stack them in order and used "linear-gradient" to carefully cover up the original text. Then I plastered the text on top and moved it with the "translate" function.
Normally I try to do it in one note when it comes to gradient backdrops, but the background function is really sensitive to changes. Otherwise I have to do some work around using multiple note instances to try and make it look seamless.
