Even without translation, this is really heart-warming. Every ant deserves a pat head from time to time!

Different sleeves and tall enough to give headpats means that's probably the queen. Wonder how harumi will visualize the ridiculously fertile sausage.

Termite queens are like that, but I think most ant queens have a more reasonably proportioned abdomen.

Given the average ant queens looks like just normal ant but several times bigger, the 'larger, older ant' version would probably be how the artist did her.

Considering these ant's size - aren't those green things they carry actually peas? Doesn't look like any fruit to me. Especially when compared to rice grains for example.

They're actually supposed to be white grapes, based on what I found in the tags from previous works. But you're right, they are too small to be grapes, and the peas are surprisingly similar to white grapes. I don't know if the artist has confirmed what they actually are...

Maybe champagne grapes? Those are really small...

Champagne grapes are very small compared to normal grapes, so it makes sense to me.

If we're talking tags, among the first 20 pages in the pool, the green "fruits" appear six times - and are tagged as "grapes" two times and "peas" two times, with the final two not being tagged as either. So it seems like there's not really a consensus either way and people are just tagging on a case by case basis based on their own gut feeling. Personally, I'm definitely in camp "pea" myself.

It's a Simant reference, where food comes in the form of little green balls.

I'd definitely play a Simant where the ants were these wonderful little cuties...
