Sorta agree except not with Roger. Dorothy, despite how she looks is actually totally girly. Roger would totally be surprised if he DIDNT get a valentines day chocolate. Heck, its even wrapped in his favorite color.

They look less surprised and more worried about being given the chocolate too me.
Roger and Archer have to worry about what Dorothy and Rin might have put into their valentines, and Rinnosuke has to find something even better to give to Marsia for white day.
As far as Roger, it's probably that Dorothy is in fact a gynoid, and it'd be slightly awkward for him to be having a relationship with a robot, even though it's implied throughout the series there is a bit of a connection there.
And there are many 'suprisingly' human androids in anime but Dorothy is more along the line of a mannequin-like body features of a more realistic android. It's harder ro make
