Neat idea for the battery, but it would on the small size. The a single battery pack on my Hyperscrambler II is 52v and 19.2 ah (around 1000 Wh in capacity) and would probably be larger than that if set up as a square over a rectangle the way it is. Mine has two for around 80 to 100 miles of range on all motor only (no pedaling since it is an ebike).

A similar bike with a battery setup like this image would be the Onyx RCR and it's a 72v with nearly a 3 kWh battery on its largest size that gets around 110 to 120 miles of all motor range on "Eco" mode (a 20 mph speed limit). Full bore "Sport" mode is around 55 mph but drops the range to 45 miles. It's also much larger than the battery in this image and it, too, is an ebike. Well, both are more like emopeds than ebikes. Regardless, their batteries are much larger than this.

Another similar setup, but a electric motorcycle with a gearbox. Still notice how large the battery is.
