Looking forward to another high quality 10 meter long comment section.
Consider adding this artist's tag to your blacklist. That's what I did to save myself the trouble of reading the stupid Bridget arguments for the umpteenth time.
A reminder that you can blacklist dark_skin alternate_skin_color instead of downvoting and complaining. No one's forcing you to look at this.
This doesn't quite work without removing posts that wouldn't cause this kind of ire, like post #7101860 and post #6867068. Although I can't ignore the fact that that tag solution is going to be a VERY difficult discussion.

As for post #6867068, a Japanese character dressed as a stereotypical Native American would definitely draw complaints from some, even if they're not from the same group (ideological inconsistency notwithstanding). Regardless, just like with the previous post, either alternate skin color or tan should be used, but not both.
I thought it was about shoot em' ups and random lolis?
Gameplay-wise it's about shoot 'em ups/bullet hells, sure, but I was talking about the games' theme (which doesn't make the girls completely random, I reckon), which fits the context of what the other guy said more. At least that was my approach.
I don't like scat or bestiality, but you don't see me downvoting and complaining about them. They're in my blacklist for a reason.
Cool, that's your choice. I have blacklisted the entirety of "rating:e" because hentai is disgusting. "Q" still has a lot of disgusting art, but I don't want to blacklist away the pictures with unchanged rating. The other guy here didn't want to blacklist everything with the alternate skin colour tag. That's understandable.
Are you saying the downvote option should not exist on Danbooru? If people don't like a picture, why can't they express it in either of the two mentioned ways, just like you complain about the downvotes? Both sides have the option to ignore and continue scrolling, but here we are, and apparently even the simple comment clarifying the context of my previous message was worthy of downvotes.
There was also user #10766 who malded over every Blue Archive post he saw because apparently there was too many of them. He was told to use the blacklist but refused to use it, and got temp banned. Do you think this guy has the right to complain?

I'm not saying some people don't go overboard or that I agree with the manner in which they act in general. Clearly, some spend too much time and effort (at this point I hope I'm not too much of a hypocrite 😅) on doing this, to the point of obsession, but they still have every right to, just like others have the right to downvote their comments into oblivion or ignore what might even be trolling.
or refuse to use it for some reason.
Well, some things are too disgusting to open, like the E rating content in my case, and some may just be cringe or silly to a particular viewer, enough to downvote, but not enough to blacklist. That is how I feel, at least. On the other hand, to those who don't blacklist the skin tag for reasons mentioned earlier, you could suggest blacklisting the artist instead. They are quite monothematic, anyway, so there's little risk of missing out on other content (though they do have a few nice pictures imo), which was the counterargument here.
