Not that impressive. Happoubi Jin's done art of some of my favorite eroge, and this one's plagiarizing Resort Boin (one of the more famous titles). Not grounds for deletion as far as I know, but it does necessitate the derivative work tag.

Not exactly "sufficiently different" when not only the pose, but a sizable amount of the underlying lines in the art, were recycled to make this pic. It's a trace-then-alter pic, and that's a fact. Nevertheless, plagiarism aliases to derivative work on Danbooru, so that's what it's tagged.
"Art snob" is not the word, either. I have eyes and a brain, and I use them. If that makes me a "snob" in your estimation, then the world could use a lot more snobs.

The hell with it, plagiarism or not, it's just inspiration. I mean, everyone could do that pose, that's why poses don't get protected under Intellectual Property Law. The angle was also free to use and the linework... I can't fully say it's a plagiarism, in fact, there are enough different to consider it a unique linework.
So, if you are new to the world of manga linework, please keep in mind that in this world, small different in a stroke of pen (or pencil, brush, stylus or photoshop tools, whatsoever) could bring about a unique linework.
And remember, you are not the only one who have a pair of eyes and a brain, and use it.

You know, there's so much artwork out there that calling it plagiarization anymore is completely fucking retarded. You think that douchebag owns the rights to the action of raising an arm up and combing your fingers through your hair?
It doesn't look traced, and if it isn't traced, it's just a motion, that can and should be used time and time again whenever you feel like it. This is inspiration, or an idea stemmed from something in your subconscious you've seen before but don't recall.
It's all been thought of; it's all been done before. Like the Simpsons episode where Homer thought he invited the chair with an extra set of legs. Originality in poses ceased to exist long ago, and originality itself is now almost nonexistent.
Leave the derivative_work tag on this. Whether or not we consider it "plagarism" is irrelevant, but it's close enough to fit derivative_work for tagging purposes.
That's all that really needs to be said about this.
