You DO realize Ramiel was so dangerous that it couldn't be approached withing a matter of MILES without being vaporized... right?

Now that I look back at it, the AT Field didn't even manifest to even try and block either of 01's shots.

Are you high? The movie clearly showed the beam shots piercing Ramiel's AT field both times.
