  • would engineering a space bidet actually be cheaper than ~8 years worth of toilet paper. good question, #SIGNALIS

    Assuming the Penrose is either:
A: Capable of recycling/reclaiming 100% of all water used by the crew that's either used for sanitation or drinking.
B: Capable of mining/harvesting comets or asteroids for ice that can be melted down into extra water.
Then a space bidet would probably be cheaper (And take up less storage space), assuming none of those systems break down.
(Also getting close to 512 Signalis posts, I would like to upload something thematically appropriate cause it'd be kinda funny)

Let's assume that the Penrose has advanced recycling and reuse systems to be able to use it for the duration of the space program. Otherwise Ariane had a very difficult time in 8Years of crew. My question is if they are wounds, how was blood obtained in case Ariane was seriously injured?

Either they had a stockpile of blood to be used for transfusions (There is a small medbay on board), they just let Ariane heal naturally, or they didn't have anything. If the pilot got seriously injured and couldn't be treated onboard, they would be placed in the cryopod.
