A supplementary tag worked for Keine and Ex-Keine, so I don't see why a new tag wouldn't work here-- except for what it would actually be called. Then again, yandere Hatate's personality is different enough from Hatate's canon mildly ditzyness that you could go for dark persona instead.
I'd still prefer the former, since it'd make searching for multiple tags easier. Unless the trend dies out, in which case a pool would be best. Still too early to tell what'll happen-- if emo Hatate will become common fanon or if this trend is just temporary.
