Its essentially Chen being drunk off catnip making her more hotheaded, and that Ran/Chen were playing what they thought was a simple game, with a simple condition with the loser obeying a wish of the winner, that evidently goes against Yukari's wishes, and that Yukari doesn't tolerate things all that well.

I know canon wise, she has a pretty simple view that Shiki only do what their masters tell them to do, going to far as to beat Ran over it, so her reaction here is unsurprising.

What most likely set Yukari off was what the wish actually was, which will probably remain unrevealed until the climax of this series.

(My guess is that Chen asked that Ran break off her contract with Yukari and become her shikigami. Yeah, very illogical, but being drunk with catnip she could've said something like that.)

Actually, she nearly managed to win a few times... and even then, she wasn't completely all-out...

This is the best Rumia.

In EOSD didn't Rumia say it was a youkai's job to eat people? If so then wouldn't eatting other youkai be out of character?

Rumia seems to be implied to eat anything she can find. At least if I remember right.

As I understand it, she'll eat anything she can catch because she's not very good at hunting. Canonically she can't see out of her own darkness bubble, and it's not terribly difficult to see her coming (except at night, but if you're a human walking around Gensokyo after dark, you're just asking for something to eat you anyway).
