Initially Soda was fairly motivated and eager for the event, which she got involved in hopes of winning to help save the maid cafe which was having money issues. Alice seeing the twinkle in Soda's eyes began referring to her as "Twinkling Bunny" after they donned on their bunny girl costumes. Soda though had issue with the competitive events in the competition, particularly where it felt she was hurting others even if it wasn't really hurting anyone. This lead to her actions coming off as not trying her best, which lead to criticism by some of the losing team that here they were trying hard only to lose to someone who wasn't even putting in the effort. This left Soda in a down state with her conflicting feelings, because she felt she was trying her best but was consistently being told she wasn't. This lead to Soda to lose that twinkle in her eyes, which Alice picked up on and simply started referring to Soda as "Green Bunny" instead because she no longer was twinkling.
She does get better later on in the story. Leading to character development where she learns is okay to get competitive in a game. Someone has to win and someone has to lose. Thats how games are.
Soda just isnt a competitive person though so she probably won't ever wanna do something like this ever again. She'll leave that to Ade and Cocoa instead probably.
As the old saying goes: Never judge a book by it's cover. Nikke has surprisingly good stories, with the best ones being down right depressing or at the very least bitter sweet. There are light heart events but they're few and far between.

players still didn't recovered from Miracle Snow event and Nya Nya Paradise
The current event has turned interesting as well. Started with an excuse to have characters in swimsuits with Viper, Sakura, and Rosanna trying to get the commander's attention while making lemonade out of their current predicament. Viper though being very jealous of the Commander spending time with Sakura alone, which turns into Viper getting into a tussle with Rosanna and fully unloading her jealousy and resentment for them. The Commander being not only someone she desires, but something she doesn't want Rosanna or Sakura having because she feels they were already given so much. She hates her job, but has to do it or else she'll be killed by a bomb in her collar. she resents that despite being deployed in the outer rim like Rosanna and Sakura, she was only issued a single lousy out of date smartphone and forced to fend for herself in the brutal environment of the outer rim. Rosanna and Sakura on the other hand seem to been given everything they could have wanted, pointing out they even had the opportunity to swap to body parts before coming to the island so they could swim, an option she wasn't granted. And of course she ends up breaking her smartphone in the tussle, thus losing even the one thing she felt was truly her's.
