shit, that reminds me, i need a replacement dreamcast. I went through 2, and it was the disk spindle both times. first one wouldn't spin up to speed, second one would shake.
I have cried manly tears. The Dreamcast was a divine console.
Now, it is dead, just like Yuyuko. However, the memories of me playing on the Dreamcast when I was a kid rush back to me...
It was powerful, but short lived. The time that I spent with it was unforgettable. Playing Sonic, Soul Calibur, or another of the awesome games for it.
I heard it was way ahead of it's time. Hell, didn't it have online? That's fucking something alright. I wonder what could've happened if it went on with Dreamcast 2...

Also, lulzy picture is lulzy.
Yeah, it had online. One of the reasons it died was because the lack of titles to it's name. Sonic and Phantasy Star Online were enough for me though.

Also, like Yuyuko, the Dreamcast has had a much happier afterlife than when it was "alive." There is still an active homebrew/hacking scene for it to this day, with new games and ports continuing to come out for it on at least a somewhat regular basis.

It's apparently the first recorded association of the ghost swirl on Yuyuko's triangular headpiece with the Dreamcast logo. Other artists ran with the gag.
