That's implying she wasn't partially one in nature in the first place. Even in MoF she showed signs of being over-excitable and overdoing things (Sanae mistook "communicate with the other shrine" for "make it a branch shrine")

I don't know what you guys are crying about. Most Touhou cast members are actually massive jerks in canon compared to some of their softer fanon portrayals. Canon Sanae's been a dumb, overconfident brat since her debut in MoF!
