Hmmm... I could see this happening if Yousuke transferred into to school around the same as Souji. Seeing as how he thought of Inaba as the dumps and was kinda "empty" like Adachi at first. Izanami might have given him the power as well. It wouldn't make sense in terms of the rest of the story though.

They could have editted the story a bit to fit the purpose and give Yousuke his own game spot the same that the MC and the other two guys.
Yousuke could have discovered his power and like the main character be a twisted version of the wild card ability in that jariah was a fake persona. It would have been awesome to find out that my suppose to be best friend main character who is a complete idiot turns out to be the real killer and the one causing everything that goes on and yousuke being the killer wouldn't have been obvious and adachi would have been a better disguised phony

I figured he was trying, its just he was an idiot. Persona 4 itself relies heavy on idiot plot(tv trope were everyone is stupid in order for the story to continue). Adachi has a point about the world and he is a shrewd manipulator when it comes to dumb people but the funny thing is he never struck me as intelligent at all and his face was so obvious.
I did what I could for now based on my limited Japanese, a little bit of Windows IME pad and Rikaichan. Yes, not very professional, but hey it's something. Maybe it'll help pop up on some other translator's radar. *shrugs*
