motion-gaming, the early years

This reminds me of the days of MarioKart on my SNES, I feel so old

and i wonder how many of us still play games tilting us self like that.
I know i do

I have a tendency to move a bit when playing with Touhou...

I've somehow developed this bizarre habit of trying to crane my neck around to try to get better views of things on the screen...such as the side of something I'm looking at.

Needless to say, it doesn't work.

I still have that on the SNES somewhere... Ah, th'good old days. Wait, I'm 20, I'm not meant to be thinking like that.

I still do this with racing games. Like when I drift a corner not knowing if I'll make it. XD

I do this sort of thing if I want to shoot someone off screen.

i know what you mean, i tend to do that too. also with racing games i tilt in the direction of the car. some things you never grow out of. ^^;

Heh, when I was playing Black Ops the other day someone was trying to snipe me so I while playing it tried ducking...sadly i didnt in game

I don't know why, but I tend to tilt my head up while looking up in fps games.

I always do that while playing Time Crysis

I don't really tilt around much, but it's hilarious to watch mom do it if she's watching me play.

I do it the most whenever I play Gitaroo Man.

I still do this, too. :3 But at least I'm not raising my joypad when my character is jumping (I have seen some children doing that). XD

From the looks of it, Suwako took the lead, Sanae got hit by a red shell, and Kanako's watching it all happen.

15 years later, acting like the controller was motion-sensitive would lead to the birth of the Wiimote and the Kinect.

All it took was taking note of this. :3

I STILL do this when playing shooter games and I'm trying to avoid getting hit. It's like "OMG OMG OMG BOMB BOMB!!! *dodge dodge sway sway*"

The groundwork was set long long ago.

I'very seen my older brother doing this playing F-Zero on the Virtual Console.
