I'd recommend sending the artist your love via the Twitter link under the information and source section on the left side of the page. That way they're getting your appreciation directly, and are a lot more likely to see it.

True, but man, imagine having to log in to twitter... I wish there was a mastodon instance that catered to NSFW art, Anime art, and that sort of thing. Unfortunately, most mastodon instances prohibit porn, and just because of the way it works, it would mean way, wayyyyyyy worse discovery and engagement for artists if the instance they were on wasn't federated with the other big instances. So, twitter it is, for now. It sucks, though, because twitter's user experience is very bad recently.
