Yup, all the characters are humans. As said previously:

yeah i thought of that as soon as i made that comment, though it's no where near what powers she normally has.

I should've corrected myself after I made that post, yeah. There are some exceptions such as Reimu's spirit interaction (which I forgot about at the time) and- depending on your take- the Eki's pet Yukkuri behaving closer to a full-blown pet animal rather than a disembodied head with human vocabulary and varying levels of intelligence.

So yeah, if there's something out of the ordinary with this comic from other depictions, there's probably an explanation for it.

No, not until Reimu made him visible to everyone by putting a talisman on him.

Also I take offence to Reisen's comment on Yuuka. She's not a horrifying being at all. People just tick her off sometimes.

Well, REAL mikos/preist are said to see spirits anyway. But that totally depends on if you believe in it or not.

Acttally,there are people who are born able to see and even communicate with spirits.Those people are very rare.
