There are varying theories about Tewi's age, but I hear the assumption that she is the 'white rabbit of Inaba' puts her age at about three thousand years.

She's mentioned as being *there*, 1300 years ago, but that's the most concrete number we have. The ASSUMPTION comes in after that. Since the White Rabbit of Inaba is Japan's oldest written story, at between 2000 and 3000 years (I forget how old it is, but I think it's something like 300 BC or something?) and that's what she's sometimes called....
Basically, she's *minimum* 1300 years old, and probably far older.
As other have said though....we all gotta grow old, we don't all gotta grow *up*. :)

Well most animal-turned-yokai are childish and/or simple (rabbit, firefly, night sparrow, cats, crow etc.) The fox is an exception (and Reisen is a lunar rabbit, not yokai)

The Great Suwa War also probably happened around 300 BC so the "new" Gods of Yokai Mountain are at least that old, too.
