Two thoughts occur to me:

1) How unskilled can Mystia be if she skewers eels for a living? I mean, those things are slippery as slip.

2) Does Reimu really need enough sarashi wrapping to mummify an average-sized youkai?

1) We have to take in account that she has sharp claws. It'll be like a cat handling a ball of wool in this scenario.

2) I just know they're thick, but definitely not that thick.

Also why did Reimu take it off in the first place? Then again who cares everyone else is naked.

No, I think this is the first time in the series that anyone's truly been naked in any way. Not counting Mokou.
