Wish I knew how to play Mahjong. Though I hear its a very complicated game....I guess Marisa has a good winnin hand there given that smirk hehe. Though Remi seems not so worried either. Wonder how this'll go hehe.
Remilia shows Sakuya her hand since she declared riichi the last turn (notice the white stick and the 9 tile she placed vertically on the table. By calling riichi, she tells everyone that her hand is ready (tenpai) and "waiting" (that's bad), but in turn increases the value of her hand (that's good). In riichi, she must automatically discard any tiles she doesn't need. (so if she drew the tile Marisa needs, she must play into her hand).
Marisa is waiting for 3, 4 or 6. (all 3 and 5 are already gone).
Her possible hands are: http://tenhou.net/2/?q=3334555777p111z2p http://tenhou.net/2/?q=3334555777p111z6p both are: [name] [han value] 1 Round Wind East 東 (round wind: see plate next to Reimu) 2 Three concealed triplets 3 One suit plus honors 3 Dora (indicator = North 北 -> 東 is worth 1 han each) 9 Total = 8000 from dealer (Reimu), 4000 from the others if Marisa draws the winning tile herself. 16000 from X if X discards the winning tile. (ron)
http://tenhou.net/2/?q=3334555777p111z4p Four concealed triples (single wait) Yakuman, on selfdraw 16000 from Reimu, 8000 from the others. Ron = 32000 from the one who discarded the tile. (which will surely be Remilia) In some rulesets, this with a single wait is worth twice as much: 64000.
4 sou for Suu Ankou, but she can also win with a 6 sou (worth at least 9 fan) (there are no 3 or 5 sou left). Too bad she wasn't in tenpai a few turns ago, when Remilia dropped a 4 sou.
Also, since she's waiting on the pair, the Suu Ankou is worth two yakuman.
