Well the demo was out, but the full version was released at Comiket. I'm watching a playthrough of it on Nicovideo.
Bosees
Stage 1: Alice. (Meiling joins Sakuya at the end of the stage. Stage 2: Chen Stage 3: Youmu (Komachi makes a cameo appearance, piloting a boat for you to cross the Sanzu river.) Stage 4: Marisa (Library stage again. Alice and Patchouli join you at the end of the stage.) Stage 5: Reimu (Reimu joins the party at the end of the stage as an assist.) Stage 6: Ran (Remember the clock tower from the first Touhouvania game? It's brought back and redone. Also Flandre joins as an assist type.) Stage 7: Yuyuko Final Stage: Remilia then Yukari then a Remilia with the power of the Saigyou Ayakashi fueling her.
Plot points: The castle from Touhouvania 1 is back, despite the fact that it was destroyed after the events of that game. Alice just came to the castle to play; there's more about this in the omake that I haven't read properly yet. Chen is there because of Ran, Youmu is there because of Yuyuko, Marisa is there to steal books. Reimu was recruited by Yukari to be queen of the castle, but quits and joins up with Sakuya in an amusing scene after being beaten. Ran's voice is delicious in her role as the consummate scheming villain, and apparently Flandre joining up with Sakuya after her battle plays right into Yukari's hands. Yuyuko gets depressingly little dialogue. It turns out that Yukari is gathering fighting power into the Saigyou Ayakashi (and Remilia) to make a full bloom. No guarantees on any of that, of course; that's just what I can pick up without a dictionary.

A web-comic I've read has led me to want for the Yuyuko fight to be one huge pun. Like, say, a giant butterfly knife being wielded instead of a scythe.

Reimu seems ignoring Yukari when she arrives, she wants to get some quiet time with Reimu to talk about I think something to do in Koumajou Densetsu 1 but many people seems to be disturbing them she got pissed and go home
.
Oh and also the 2nd Omake really did pay attention on Yuyuko and Youmu, Komachi is included
I did not expect for there to be that much voice acting. Oh, would the person who voices Celty (Durarara!!) be the same person who does Shinku (Rozen Maiden)? Sakuya sounds awfully familiar and it's bothering me...

Lunatic6 said: um yeah... it was Sawashiro Miyuki if I recall...
Ah, thanks. Whenever Shinku says Jun or Nori' name, it sounds like she's calling a servant, like Sakuya does when she says "Meiling". It's a bit hard to explain.

I'm going to assume you mean Order of Ecclesia. Personally, I loved it. It felt classic, but had a nice twist to it with the Glyph system. I wish the game was a bit longer and had a larger variety of Glyphs, and that there was more to the story, like why Shanoa was able to use Glyphs and all that. Even the final boss fight put a funny spin on "Dracula" battle, though I kinda wish it was a larger boss fight, like on Circle of the Moons.

I like Order of Ecclesia. But I don't count it as a classicvania. I meant that game released on wii, Castlevania Adventure Rebirth. It might be fun to play, I haven't tried it yet, but it looks incredibly ugly. The animations are awkward, the sprites and environments dull, and this is supposed to be an official Castlevania!
Koumajou Densetsu on the other hand has excellent spritework and animation. The environments share some flaws with Castlevania Adventure Rebirth though...

Some of those released after it would have gotten close if they weren't too fucking easy. Order of Ecclesia is the first to have the right difficulty, but it suffers instead in map design.

It's a remake of a Gameboy (NOT GBA) installment, if I read some Youtube comments right. Not a complete excuse but you have to expect GB-esque gameplay rather than PSX/DS from a GB remake.

All my complaints where regarding the graphics. The game plays exactly like all classicvanias from what I can tell and I like that. The problem I have is that the 2D looks like shit in comparison with real classicvanias. Put any screenshots or movies next to Super Castlevania IV, Castlevania Bloodlines, Rondo of Blood, Akumajou Dracula XX or any of the Metroidvanias (and I really mean anyone of them) and it looks like shit in comparison.
