how do I delete a post? Everywhere I post it people are telling me it looks awful…
I believe if it goes through the upload process without being approved it will get deleted. Also I think awful is too harsh, if you keep practicing I definitely think you'll improve.

Hi there.
First of all, thank you for your contribution. Unfortunately, the level of quality of this image does indeed not quite reach the standard that Danbooru is aiming for, and will therefore most likely not be accepted. But don't worry, you don't have to do anything. After three days, any image that hasn't been accepted will automatically be deleted and hidden from general view as explained here.
While this might be disheartening, please do not let this weigh too heavy on your passion to create art. Every artist starts out somewhere and while her anatomy needs some further refinement, your shading is showing lots of potential. Compliments for the use of light on her elbow, the subtle gradients in her skin, and the highlights on her clothes.
Don't let what we think matter too much and just draw what you want, and what inspires you. Because whatever motivates you is the only thing that matters. I'm rooting for you!
@soaphisoap Just want to make sure, but is that Fern from Frieren: Beyond Journey's End? If so, then it will need to be tagged both with Sousou_no_Frieren and Fern_(Sousou_no_Frieren). We use the Original tag for OCs and the like, not for indicating that something is fanart of an existing series.
Also, note that deleted posts aren't literally deleted. Others can still view them, just not by default. If that's good enough for you, you don't need to do anything more like GabrielWB said, but if you really don't want it on here, you do have the right as the artist to submit a DMCA.
I'll also say that despite the likelihood of approval being low, I still think it looks pretty good. Keep developing your art skills, and maybe you'll be able to get your works approved here one day.
Wholesome Danbooru comment section, good on you boys.
But yes I agree OP. Don't let Danbooru of all places determine your self worth. It is a singular image board run by a specific group of people. That's all. Now more than ever we need human creatives to continue putting out works of art that reflect their unique perspectives, talents, and passion. I sincerely hope you continue to make art.
