Can someone help me out on this whole 'Natsuki + Shizuru thing? There certainly seems to be a lot of yuri art of these two. All I have is the first manga. Is there something between them in the manga/anime? Or is it just a product of doujinshi and fan-art?
Shiz rapes Nat in the 'hime anime (and it's obvious she fancies her from the first time you see them together) and I believe they're pretty much an unspoken couple in the 'otome anime.
In Mai-HiME Shizuru's definitely the agressive one but I wouldn't call Natsuki sub so not really (Natsuki didn't exactly share Shizuru's feelings, thus the rape bit). In Mai-Otome they're more equals than anything.
Ah. Also, I finally re-read my manga and zshizuru's first words to Natsuki were asking about 'deepening' their relationship with each other. I guess Shuzuru's got it bad for Natsuki.
