Some of you are probably new here but just to tell you back in the days here in danbooru, comments were actually used to provide insight to the image, helping out other users regarding some issues, or just having a "discussion" with other users about stuff. Comments of being a complete degenerate will actually give you a bad record, not just outright banned yet.
People tried to separate this site from being 4chan.
i ain't defending his comment but wtf u mean disgusting.... u litterly on a website full of cuming. you prolly cumming rn fn
Of our current collection of 8280108 posts, only 240359 posts feature cum in any form, which is 2.9%. So tone down the horniness with 97.1% and then you would be properly in line with this website. How you would like to implement this is up to your discretion.
In my own opinion comments are best used for meta-discussion of the post, such as whether it should have a certain tag and why/why not-- things of that nature. For example, in this case, I think that long_hair should be removed, because she has very_long_hair that extends below her waist. EDIT-- just learned that very long hair implicates long hair. didn't know that before! cool. --END EDIT Now, I probably don't need to leave a comment documenting that kind of change, but it's that sort of thing that I expect out of the comments; I'm not really looking for insight into how some other user may have subjectively experienced the post. I think many other users also expect the comments to be used in a similar way, so may downvote comments that don't add anything useful in that regard. So, I guess what I'm trying to say is, It's not about hating horny comments for being horny so much as seeing those comments as kind of unproductive, at least for me.
All this comment section proved is that this site is full of nerds who think that they are above being horny.
No, it's full of nerds that don't feel the need to announce to everyone their private business (such as being horny) and don't like it when other people are unable or unwilling to display the same level of decorum.
Put another way, shut the fuck up about your kinks, this isn't pornhub. We don't want to hear about what you do with your nasty dick.
We are all horny, we just don't announce it. Everyone is horny. Both IRL, on the internet, on this site, wherever, everyone is horny. There's nothing wrong with being horny in moderation. The problem is announcing it in inappropriate locations and situations or whatever. Be secure in your horniness, but also be respectful.
Look at the strippers, but don't touch them unless they allow it, and please don't yell at them, especially really crude or vulgar comments. It brings down everyone's mood.

This, so much. Danbooru can be - and is - an adult site without being PornHub. And being an adult site, there's a concomitant expectation that users will act like adults, not hormone-addled teenagers. Is it really so difficult to enjoy your porn-browsing session in private?

Advice to live by. In fact, I'm saving it to pass on to others who might need it.
